It is my pleasure to introduce myself, I was born in a desert city where people are struggling much with slim water sources. Moreover, as my primary hobby, I have a significant penchant for hiking, which has directed me more toward nature and related threats. I studied for my bachelor's at the Shahid Beheshti University (SBU), one of the esteemed universities in Iran, in civil engineering. In my bachelor's degree, I passed several courses related to water engineering, including fluid mechanics, applied hydrology, hydraulics, and groundwater. In addition, I spent my internship at Mahab Ghodss consultant engineering company as a designer of irrigation networks. I am determined to study for my master's in Water Resources Engineering and Management at the Iran University Science and Technology (IUST). During my master's, I passed nine courses as 24 credits with a grade of 17.38 out of 20 and achieved the second rank in class among 12 students. Moreover, I took part in some workshops, such as the introductory and advanced SWAT and SWAT-CUP workshop presented by professor Abbaspour and the data assimilation workshop presented by professor Moradkhani at Tehran University. After completing my investigations and discovering my interests, I had to choose a subject among many general issues; finally, I chose my thesis topic ''Hydrological simulation using a combination of water balance and energy balance equations''. To accomplish it, I researched the relationship between hydrological and land surface models and how I could couple them together. Additionally, I learned Fortran programming, so I changed the source code of the SWAT model according to my goals for changing the SWAT hydrological model to a land surface model for estimating better outputs of the model. For improving the result, the VARS algorithm for sensitive analysis and the SUFI2 algorithm for calibration are used by rewriting their MATLAB codes on the authority of my objects. It is noticeable that this model could apply to assimilate satellite data.As I am eager to share my experiences with others, I was a Teaching Assistant (TA) for some semesters in Advanced Groundwater, Applied Hydrology, and GIS and Remote Sensing courses. After graduation, I worked as a hydrologist expert in Sazehaye Abi company and Mohitab consulting engineering company for a few years. I could obtain some priceless experiences in the weather field, become familiar with the WRF model, work on the HEC-HMS hydrological model, and assess the effects of drought on agriculture as a research assistant.
