• Collaborate with patients, families, and all levels of UMHS leadership, including C-level executives, to investigate, document, and resolve patient grievances concerning the quality of care provided• Facilitate system improvements by identifying areas for improvement and involving department/unit leadership and QI to improves processes and/or operations• Increased office efficiencies: have seen average start to resolution times decrease from 11 days to 8.5 days over the past 18 months. Over 50% of caseload resolved within one business day: highest proportion in the department

• Member of Planning Teams for 2012 Annual Meeting Day, 2011 Annual Meeting Day, 2010 Alumni Town Hall, and 2009 Staff Retreat, all with over 200 attendees • Member of sub-committee that partnered with Prof. Jeff DeGraff at the Ross Business School and his Innovation graduate course to resolve a charge of finding ways for UM to save $100 million over the next 5 years via new innovations and collaborations.• As a result of said partnership, established COIN (COllaborative Innovation Network), a new custom project management system with projected savings of $10-$15 million dollars over the next five years.• Co-chair for new partnership with the Development Office to utilize COIN in the development of a staff endowment fund in preparation for the upcoming capital campaign in honor of the Bicentennial: targeted fundraising goal of $3 million.
