Duties and responsibilities:-• Work with the underwriting department to ensure good understanding of the written portfolios.• Perform the internal and external daily correspondence, answering the queries under the supervision of COO.• Monitor the development of portfolios during the year and inward acceptances through obtaining different reports from PREMIA system.• Collect all renewal information and make sure of its correctness and do relevant analysis for proposing enhancements in the treaties.• Prepare the required renewal information including As if statistics, risk profiles, statistical results, top risks, underwriting philosophy and major losses, etc.• Answer to queries raised by brokers and underwriters as appropriate and follow up the pending issues.• Review the placing slips, cover notes and wordings and raise points to the next level of management.• Handle and follow up all claims exposing the XOL protection and provide all information up the claim is closed. • To make a cash call in case individual claims exceeds the cash loss limit as per the reinsurance treaties. • Prepare the required reports to the board of Directors and Saudi Arabian Monetary agency in line with the relevant reinsurance regulations. • To monitor the financial rating of Reinsurance companies issued by major rating agencies such as S&P, AM Best and Moody in order to confirm that company’s treaties are placed with secured reinsurers.• Perform administrative activities such as handling of reinsurance registers for premium and claims, facultative register, supervision of month end closing, submission of quarterly accounts etc.• Follow up on daily basis the developments in the international insurance markets through various sources.• To confirm that companies treaties are placed in accordance with Reinsurance regulations issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA)

* Arrange Facultative Insurance on a case by case basis* Arrange Treaty Renewal Information and Statistics* Renewal of Company treaties in line with approved RI Strategies and regulations. * Ensure smooth flow of Accounts as per treaty agreements.* Ensure prompt recovery of claims in line with company treaties. * Work with regulators and Ensure proper compliance. * Review and understand market situations and form appropriate RI strategy.

• Processing Vouchers like, Receipt, Payment, Journal, Debit and Credit Notes. • Management of Receivable and Payable Accounts• Payroll Management and Banking transactions.• Prepare Monthly Trial balance, P&L Account, Balance Sheet• Reconciliation of Sub ledger, General Ledgers, Sub Account Trial balance and Main Account Trial balance, Reconciliation of Head Office Accounts and Branch Accounts.• Annual Accounts: - Preparation of Company Financial Accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet, Prepare break down values of main Accounts, schedules for the purpose of Audit, Assist the External Auditors for the finalization of Audited Accounts and taxation.• Reporting: Provide Monthly Accounting Report to the Head Office, reporting outstanding receivable / Payable Account to the Management, Aging Schedule of Outstanding receivable / Payable Account, Income Statement, Expense Analysis and Comparison with the Budget and Reporting the reasons for variances, P&L Account by product wise and total wise and Balance Sheet.• Internal Audit and Compliance: To check that Payment vouchers are supported, Payments are approved by authorized person within his authority limit, Receipts are deposited in the bank, unused cheque books and receipts are locked in the safe, Receipt and Payment vouchers are serial, Journal Vouchers are supported etc.
