As a mechanical engineering intern on the Eiffel Tower northern pillar renovation project, I supported the lead construction manager in coordinating and executing the project plan. My role involved assisting with the final assembly of the elevator and actively participating in the testing phase, where I focused on ensuring that planned tasks were well-coordinated with technicians on-site.I documented each test (both static and dynamic) with clear reports, videos, and detailed 2D drawings, aiming to provide the design team with the information needed to assess progress and address any challenges. Through this, I gained valuable experience in field testing and reporting while contributing insights on design aspects where possible.This project also allowed me to strengthen my communication skills, as I worked closely with technicians and subcontractors to facilitate smooth collaboration. Being part of this iconic renovation project was both a learning experience and a privilege.
