Co-founded and co-led several partnerships and initiatives in Egypt, MENA, and globally, both community-led and in government. Extended experience in policy development, treaty-setting and standard-setting processes in multilateral and multistakeholder processes, working across projects with global and regional partners from industry, government, and specialized organizations across MENA and Africa. Collaborated across ITU, IGF, CSTD, League of Arab States, AU, UN-ESCWA, ISOC, and ICANN. Co-founder of Internet Society Egypt Chapter, and Arab Internet Governance Forum, and advisor to the African IGF.
