Complete reshape of a duplicated prototype called DBOX for direct application on mining vehicle wheels. Made it resistant to harsh environment, compact, declinable with additional sensors and compatible with truck, metro and agriculture vehicles. This includes: Mechatronics design, circuit board, firmware, user gui software and installer, post-processing tools, world transportation material and formal documentation. I also conducted several face to face equipment formation on real vehicles to our world spread field engineer during annual meetings.Now called ATOM and/or DBOX 2, infinite number of products can be placed and wirelessly synchronized on the same vehicle to record high frequency data (average 100Hz) with "a la carte" sensors (GPS, RTK GPS, 9-Axis, Load, Pressure, Temperature).

✅ Product stabilisation before production#️⃣ Retro-conception, specification, documentation, drafting robust conception, clients audit and technology watch.📜 In details:• Analysis of a complex six years old home made embedded system for potential medium series production. Made a complete state of the art with reports to help "à la carte" action plan.• I helped the manager of the department imagine new opportunities and change management to be done to prevent from keeping current staffing and aged technologies. I wrote action plans, began agile methods evangelization, introduced code versioning and knowledge management to the team by implenting a self hosted redmine instance.

✅ 3rd place in French contest, 7th place world contest📜 4 complete iterations and participations to the French cup of robotics. Main firmware contributor. Lead the team in 2010/2011 as President. 40 members, 15k€ budget through 100 days/year events and given formations. Brought my team up to Eurobot international contest (reserved for the top 3 of French cup contest against 200 schools).

✅ Work on humanoid robot platform called HRP-2.#️⃣ HRP2, OpenRTM, OpenHRP, UML, CORBA, VSLAM, Kineo, Python, C++, Java, Git, Unix📜 My role was to achieve fully functional demonstrators for project requiring contact with foreign countries or non-japanese researchers. I conducted in full autonomy the following projet:• Specify, design and implementation of a resilient framework on top of OpenRTM. Objective was to orchestrate multiple dedicated algorithm (vision, pathfinding, kinematics, etc) on the robot without the need of a main algorithm. Each algorithm can fail, restart (even the main code) without any visible impact on the walking robot or any command order loss. I had to report our result to our partner LAAS (Toulouse).• In partnership with Bristol University (UK), I integrated and hijacked primary goal of a monocular SLAM algorithm library in order to leverage new performance on absolute indoor localisations and object recognition. I had full dedicated access to the robot to handle my trials.• Creation of a complete compilation and integration framework on top of CMake. This solved component version and requirements conflicts, heteregeneous way to integrate component, environment library dependency conflicts. Rewrite several projects in OpenRTM component to further increase reusability of any work in progress of a researcher.
