I am a backend developer at Talabat by Delivery Hero, working in the Payment Acceptance squad within the Fintech Tribe.I am enthusiastic about clean code, clean architecture, simple design, and eXtreme programming (XP). I believe the best software requires the fewest maintainers because it requires lower capacity and offloads developers to do awesome work in other teams or areas. I strive to create the best software to achieve this goal through continuous improvements to systems and codebases. I aim to do this using sustainable methods to ensure we can continue improving our systems indefinitely.At Talabat, my primary focus is on architecting and developing backend services to process payments across various use cases efficiently. My role includes developing a micro-service architecture while paying strong attention to observability, monitoring, and contributing to on-call maintenance. I also focus on advocation for XP through delivering workshops for other teams.Embracing XP principles, I advocate for practices like pair programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and slicing to ensure high-quality code, efficient collaboration, and continuous delivery.
