Chandni Agarwal is Head of Patent Quality at Google and spends most of her time devising innovative ways to use available patent data to efficiently manage and strategically grow Google’s patent portfolio. In her current role, she is responsible for looking at Patent Quality from various vantage points to quantitatively measure qualitative aspects of Patents. Chandni leads a team that is responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of work is performed at each touch point during the lifecycle of a patent and is focussed on growing the highest quality portfolio for Google. Ms. Chandni has over 13 years of experience in patents, including patent harvesting, educating and advising inventors, running patent committees, claim charting, portfolio management, drafting/prosecution, and patent licensing primarily in US and EP jurisdictions. Chandni also has expertise in building high-performing in-house patent engineering teams to improve quality of patent portfolio while reducing overall cost.Ms. Chandni has an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Management Development Institute (MDI, Gurgaon). She also has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (India).
