Renewity’s mission is three-fold. We purchase substantial non-performing pools from these US financial institutions and work with homeowners in modifying mortgages thereby helping decrease the chances of default while reducing a family’s debt load. We apply our proprietary AI/ML models that root out Algorithmic Bias with our own internal credit ratings. Our aim is to measure yearly impact through transparency by following the National Fair Housing Alliance’s PPM (Purpose, Process, and Monitoring (PPM) Framework for Algorithmic Auditing) along with following the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investing (UNPRI) and issuing third-party opinion papers by Sustainalytics/Morningstar and SGS. We follow the Department of Treasury’s CDFI program’s mandates. This is why incorporating ESG and Impact into our investment practice is our ethos.Current solutions are on the front-end of the problem.
