His expertise in strategic planning, facilitation, executive coaching, fundraising, capital campaign planning, board development, financial management, marketing, corporate sponsorship, community outreach, and administration spans both not-for-profit and commercial environments. Norbert has facilitated numerous board and staff retreats, moderated expert panels and political candidates’ forums, emceed special events, and is an accomplished public speaker. Norbert’s recent consulting projects have included the AAPI Equity Alliance, Conejo Schools Foundation, Ventura Fire Foundation, Korean American Coalition, the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at California Lutheran University, Ventura Botanical Gardens, the Chance Theater in Anaheim, Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra, and Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation. He serves and advises on a variety of non-profit boards in the community, including the Ventura County Ballet, Rubicon Theatre Company, the Ventura County Leadership Academy, and the City of Ventura Cultural Affairs.Norbert has been directly involved in raising over $65M over his career with non-profits. He currently serves as Deputy Director for AAPI Equity Alliance and as a Senior Advisor to Stop AAPI Hate. Norbert recently served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement at Antioch University, leading fundraising and alumni efforts on the West Coast. Prior to Antioch, Norbert served as Executive Director of the Ventura College Foundation (VCF) for over a decade. At VCF, Norbert helped solicit the largest single planned gift in Southern California community college history – the $12M gift to support Ventura College.
