Provided tactical and strategic decision support to the Founder, CEO and CTO. • Made Walmart deployments scalable by identifying and qualifying architects across the USA who could use our building standards. Established common standards by holding problem solving clinics, LinkedIn learning modules and other shared online learning.• Drove down the unit cost of the robot significantly by creating a BOM and working with the engineering teams and collaboration with the Supply Chain team to show them the financial impact of their design decisions. This was a key component in the Walmart business analysis.• Increased the output of the robot production line to the level required within 6 months at Plexus (contract manufacturer in Wisconsin) by intensively reviewing their production process, constructively challenging them, and negotiating expansion of the line at no immediate cost to Alert Innovation.• Became the key technical partner in a joint venture between a lead Japanese global player and Alert Innovation for our robot. The team in Japan relied on me to provide technical and commercial solutions to them.

This was praised as being better than similar measurement systems at Intel.• Became a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO and CTO because of the ability to answer all R&D questions and aggregate complex R&D data in a way that allowed the Senior Leadership Team to make properly informed decisions.• Led a very productive team of finance professionals across all three regions through strong communication, empowerment, mentoring and timely feedback on performance. This was a very complex multi-billion-dollar deal that also required a change in mindset and behaviors.• Reduced CAPEX spending dramatically by introducing simple but very effective justification processes where none had existed before.

At the time Intel were telling the market that AMD would fail to comply, so success was essential. By working closely with E&Y (strong technical and personal respect) and using excellent communication with all EMEA employees the project was successful and AMD had zero compliance issues.• Transformed CAPEX and OPEX controlling by being a key leader in the team that implemented SAP.• Selected for an 11-month expat assignment to Corporate Planning at HQ in Sunnyvale, CA supporting the CFO, CEO and other key corporate leaders.
