Leading the rapid growth and delivery of new clubs for Revo Fitness across Australia.

A strategic short term consulting role whilst relocating back to Perth, focusing on Project Directorship, Workplace Strategy and Real Estate Advisory. Executing project management for commercial workplace fit out projects with large real estate companies including Fiveight and Charter Hall. In addition I used my experience and research on the Future of Work to help large international businesses consider their Workspace Engagement & Culture, Workplace Digitalisation and Workplace Strategy goals.

A senior member of the Bay Area Real Estate and Development team delivering on strategy, planning and execution of the long term pipeline of projects for the region, to meet the fast-paced growth. The role includes planning and evaluating opportunities for leases, purchases, and developments for the Bay Area. Communicating directly with property owners, landlords and developers as part of the project initiation process, ensuring LOIs, leases and purchase contracts secure the maximum benefit in a competitive market. I am also charged with overseeing the design coordination and collaboration between the region’s Project Management team, Workplace Design team, Cross functional teams and developers, to ensure all projects in the Bay Area meet our high internal design standards, as well as their budget and schedule expectations. Leading the engagement of architects to deliver spaces from district to the desk, and working closely with them to ensure Facebook’s design vision and aesthetic is maintained on each project. Managing senior level cross-functional relationships throughout the region, and delivering executive presentations and reports to VP-level management.

The role was focused on growing and leading a team of project managers and cost managers to deliver a new LEED Gold awarded East Bay Campus in Fremont, CA. The former business park site consisted of 18 existing stand alone single story buildings which were fitout to Facebook office design standards. The project also included the creation of an enclosed exterior landscape area which captured outdoor dining and fitness facilities to create an active campus main street. The role involved coordinating with VP-level end users, internal cross-functional teams, external consultants, the landlord and local authorities, to ensure the project was delivered to schedule and on budget.

Worked on site with the Facebook Project Management team to deliver a new East Bay Campus in Fremont noted above, in a contract worker role, before accepting a full time position with Facebook.

Involved in all aspects of management and design of Commercial Interior and Architectural projects as a team leader. Expertise in project management, client presentations, coordination of business groups and end users, development of construction documents, consultant coordination, securing agency approvals, and project delivery. Clients include McKesson and Dolby Ventures.

Heading the rollout team of three Bay Area startups, requiring rapid delivery, code research, creative solutions, standards development and cost efficient design. Also involved in the management of additional rollout clients, and varying sizes of single family and multi-family residential projects.

Engaged to successfully manage tenant space delivery of a large-scale retail expansion project. Coordination of tenancy owners, fit-out contractors and head contractor to drive the project to completion two months ahead of schedule, meeting ambitious deadlines to open in time for the busy holiday period.

Contracted to project manage a subdivision in Helena Valley, WA. Surrounded by similar developments, the former bushland site was created into 102 lots while maintaining much of the bush environment, and creating new public open spaces for the future residents.

Contracted to deliver multiple projects for the practice, primarily in the contract administration phase. Successful delivery of projects resulted in ongoing engagement, working with key user groups to deliver world-class education and health facilities.

Established my own practice to complete full scope projects and contract to larger practices, further developing proficiencies in contract administration and design management. These firms include JCY Architects and Urban Designers, Barnao Property, and Aria Projects.

Led high-end, high-profile projects through all phases from initial design to contract administration. Working with internal teams to deliver award winning commercial and hospitality projects. A highly collaborative role, requiring liaison between general contractors, fit out contractors, consultants, building owners and tenants to ensure a successful solution for all parties in challenging conditions; In parallel, working cohesively with the practice team to deliver a functional, durable and outstanding design outcome.

Graduate architecture role with early exposure to high end, international developments, working on major projects with large internal teams, as well as joint ventures. With mentoring from established professionals in an entry-level role, I developed strong documentation and detailing skills, and a refined design ethos.
