Recruit, interview, hire and train new bar staff employees, handle customer complaints, advertise the daily, weekly and monthly promotions of the bar, ensure staff is following all food control and safety regulations, liquor ordering and inventory, 40 hours bartending per week, create employee schedules based on expected customer numbers, event planning, cash handling, daily closing paperwork.

In 2018, I opened my own art and design business and I have a passion for creating art and events in Southern Illinois. My graphic design work can be seen around Carbondale including logo and branding work for Jen's Joe, a few Southern 7 Health Department initiatives, Buckwater Brew Works, Brand Ad Group, WTF Carbondale, The Stage Co. and the SIU Communication Department. My artwork has been featured in several local exhibitions including at the Varsity Center, Cristaudo's, and the SIU Surplus Gallery and in the Southern Illinois Life and Style Magazine 2021
