Leading a mighty team of technical product managers building software solutions for pricing, tracking and managing inventory for Amazon's Grocery businesses (Whole Foods, Fresh, Go). Goal is optimizing the movement of inventory through the supply chain to maximize instock levels and reduce shrink and food waste. Promoted to Technical PM designation.

Led the produce, meat, and fish instock team (best instock team at Amazon) that kept inventory levels optimized and strengthened the supply chain during COVID. Responsible for having exactly the right number of units of every produce, meat, and fish item in every Fresh building in NA at all times. Developed and implemented physical supply chain and technical inventory management solutions to drive the highest instock rates of any vertical. Developed novel buying strategies to reduce shrink rates by 50+%. Promoted to L7.

Built Fresh's produce, meat, and fish supply chain with Whole Foods, including developing technical and physical supply chain solutions to integrating with Whole Foods perishable DCs. Result was best performing supply chain channel in Fresh network (both inputs and outputs). Promoted to Manager.

Built and led operations, website, and online shopping experience for the launch of a healthy school lunch delivery company. Achieved positive unit economics from first order.

Led regional operations and growth, with profit and loss responsibilities, for VC-backed online farmer’s market until the company had to shut down. Grew regional revenue 2X in 3 months, achieved per-order average profitability, and NPS score of 70+ (industry average is ~38).

Managed team of 24 union machinists building and installing the 737’s integrated fuel system. The team improved on time completion from 10% to over 65%, reduced quality defects by 40%, achieved highest possible team engagement score (audited by independent facilitator), and completed 250 airplanes during my tenure.

Program Manager for launch of Boeing’s company-wide workplace Safety initiative, “Go for Zero" that resulted in the best annual workplace safety record in company history. Coordinated 16 VP executive team and oversaw team of 20+ project managers leading projects that prioritized safety in engineering, facilities design, HR policies, and CEO oversight. Led standardization of safety rules for all of Boeing’s 100+ sites around the world. Also led network of Boeing's volunteer Green Teams to prioritize employee action to reduce company's environmental impact.

Selected as paid instructor of complex systems modeling for graduate students from a variety of schools (business, engineering, environment, public policy).

Developed sustainability strategies for supply chain greenhouse gas management (adopted by seven other OEMs), water, conflict minerals, and rare earth elements

Organized, researched, and edited white paper on best practices in corporate sustainability

Implemented agriculture, computer, and microfinance education programs, and founded library at community center in rural Tanzania by collaborating with community women's group, local community leaders, and government officials. Learned Swahili.

Wrote investor reports on the social and environmental records of US companies for institutional money managers and state pension funds. Served as advisory stakeholder on sustainability issues to a cohort of small progressive companies including Seventh Generation, Clif Bar, Timberland, and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Managed Sudan Divestment product and launched new partnership with non-profit to improve accuracy and credibility of research, leading to increased effectiveness of the campaign and new state pension fund sales
