Assisted on a research paper dealing with PARP inhibitors and radiation cancer therapy. I was tasked with collecting raw data concerning the effectiveness of multiple cancer drugs w/ cell lines. The raw data was later interpreted to determine which drug was most effective. I also generated charts, graphs, and making analytical interpretations of the research data. Currently working on preparing comprehensive reports as well as putting together the final research paper.

Assisted Dr. Kenneth M. Fine in his daily routine of patient checkups and other tasks. I was tasked with learning how to analyze x-rays and MRIs in order to learn and properly diagnose patients. I was able to build good relationships with patients in order to promote a better patient-doctor relationship. I was able to attain a lot of knowledge on orthopedics as well as medical terminology through numerous collaborations with patients.

Participated in the Stepping Stones Program. I assisted doctors and hospital staff by doing rotations in various departments including Woundcare, Cardiology, OR and ER. I was able to conduct histories and other procedures as instructed by the doctors.

I was a adult volunteer assisting hospital staff by doing numerous tasks. These tasks include preparing charts, answering phone calls, creating patient charts, transporting lab specimens, restocking items, discharging patients and more. I was able to attain a lot of experience and exposure to various medical professions and tasks.

I was a junior volunteer assisting hospital staff in the Pre-Op Department performing a number of tasks including maintaining patient files/records and performing a number of data entries.
