QA/QC Duties1. Scrutinize all drawings issue for errors prior to fabrication 2. Verify dimensions and specifications of materials to be used according fabrication drawings 3. Verify and transfer heat numbers prior to cutting materials test certificate 4.Ensure accurate measuring and marking of steel is done prior to cutting 5. Compile cutting list according to bill of materials 6. Plan cutting list of limit waste 7. Monitor cutting process for errors8. Sign of cutting list for completion 9. Maintain productive work environment base on quality management system and continuous improvement 10. Reporting of materials statutes/ progress to project , construction manager and client 11. Inspection of received materials and ensuring they are traceable to the certificate received 12. Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to production department 13. Writing and review of QA/QC procedures related to the inspection (eg. Quality plan MDRs, ITPs, MRBs) 14. On- field inspection and coordination of welding and fabrication activities 15. Ensure proper installation of materials and also make sure the right items are issued for the right job 16. Monitoring materials inventories to ensure that the correct amount of material are on hand at all times Ensure all fabrication are done according to the approved construction drawing (blueprints) BOILERMAKER DUTIES
