With over 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and plumbing design, I strive to apply my engineering knowledge and skills for the greater good of society, specifically in the health care industry. I am currently a mechanical team engineer specializing in health care facility design. I have successfully designed and worked on HVAC/plumbing/fire protection/medical gas systems for state hospitals, hot labs, PET-CT scan labs, medical office buildings, and medical education buildings. My scope of work includes initial schematic design all the way through construction administration and project close-out. Communicating effectively with architects, contractors, and other engineers is a skill I encounter daily that continuously pushes me to be the best engineer I can be. I plan on obtaining my professional engineering (PE) license towards the end of the upcoming year.
