About Abraham Mahama

I am a critical thinker with a strong background in Public Health-Health Promotion and Community Nutrition. I am passionate in improving infant and young child nutrition, as well as maternal and adolescent girls’ nutrition. My experiences and expertise cover a wide range of technical community nutrition, and public health-health promotion areas: over seven years of experience in nutrition interventions such as Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF), Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), early initiation to breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding., anaemia control in young children and adolescent girls; social and behaviour change communication; malaria control and management, and general maternal and child health issues. I am also competent in programme monitoring and evaluation, and possess skills in the use of most Microsoft Office and statistical packages such as “Epi-Info” and SPSS for analysing research data. I am a team player who is full of initiatives, and always willing to learn new things. I have good facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills.
