- Provide technical leadership and support in the implementation of a multi-million dollar large scale National Food Consumption and Micronutrient Survey (NFCMS) involving Local over eight (8) and International Organizations/Stakeholders aimed at—(i) assessing micronutrient status using biological samples to determine eight (8) micronutrients [1) Iron; 2) Folate; 3) Vitamin A; 4) Vitamin B1; 5) Vitamin B2; 6) Vitamin B12; 7) Zinc, and 8) Iodine] and (ii) Dietary intake using i24-hour dietary recall to provide estimates for a wide range of attributes related to nutrient intake (including estimation of usual energy, macronutrient, micronutrient intake—among children aged 6-59 months), adolescent girls (10-14 years) and women (15-49 years) in all six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria. - Provide technical oversight in the procurement of bulk biomarker and anthropometry supplies for the NFCM- Manage a multi-million dollar Partnership Agreement with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA); the Lead Implementing Agency for the NFCMS- Manage UNICEF’s collaboration with the United States Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC)-Atlanta in the provision of technical support to the NFCMS- Coordinate Donor engagements with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) [formerly DFID], the World Bank Group, and Nutrition International (NI) as part of UNICEF’s Fund Management Agency role- Provide supervisory role over a National Officer (NOB) in the implementation of activities for the NFCMS, and general technical support for nutrition programmes

- Provided technical support to the National Nutrition Centre (NNC) of the Ministry of Health on the operationalization of the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) programme and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) guidelines, Vitamin A Supplementation for children aged 6-59 months, Nutrition Information Management Systems, bi-annual Nutrition Surveillance, networking and partnerships with other players in nutrition in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR). - Developed a draft National Nutrition Emergency Preparedness and Response Guideline- Reviewed and provided inputs to the National IMAM guidelines and monitoring resources - Led in the orientation on the IMAM programme for 16 Health Tutors of the Faculty of Nursing Services--University of Health Sciences, Vientiane - Developed a draft Training Manual for use by Tutors in teaching students integrated management of acute malnutrition at the Faculty of Nursing Services--University of Health Sciences, Vientiane-Provided technical support in the training of anthropometrists for the 2019 Provincial Household Survey in all 15 districts in Savannakhet on the situation of children, families and households on child Health and Nutrition, Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Education and Child Protection. -Provided general technical support to the Nutrition Manager and two (2) National Staff (NOB level) in nutrition programming in the UNICEF Country Office.

- Provided technical leadership and coordination in the implementation and monitoring of key stunting reduction and micronutrient deficiency control programmes: Micronutrient Powder Initiative for children aged 6-23 months in selected districts, Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), Community Infant and Young Child Feeding (cIYCF), Breastfeeding programmes [including the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI)], and routine Vitamin A Supplementation for children aged 6-59 months.- Provided technical facilitation in the design and roll out of the first ever anaemia control programme for adolescent girls aged 10-19 years [called Girls’ Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation (GIFTS)] in the first four phase one regions of Ghana. After a successful year of implementation, I led in the scale-up of the GIFTS programme nationwide.- Provided technical leadership in the development of National Guidelines for promoting school aged nutrition and health program using the Focusing Resources on Effective School Health (FRESH) initiative as part of the roll-out of a School Nutrition Programme.

• Provided support to the implementation of the project’s PMP• Worked closely with the Health Information Unit of the Ghana Health Service at the Regional level to build the capacities of District level Health Information Officers through coaching visits on data management• Supported improved data collection, analysis, and use of key project indicators by Ghana Health Service, USAID, and local partners, including support to surveillance systems and the use of data for timely and effective decision making and planning using DHIMS-2 software• Contributed to building the skills of health staff, and supported Ghana Health Service facility staff in M&E procedures to generate data uniformly, as well as understanding the meaning of indicators for which routine data was collected• Supported regular data collection, conducted analyses, and prepared reports in collaboration with the Accra-based M&E team• Verified validity and quality of monitoring data from the field, including use in reports on performance.• Contributed to the preparation of quarterly performance reports with programme staff and partners
