I have won several awards such as Top 40 under 40 in the Annual Business Daily Ranking 2017, The Best E-commerce personality in the Kenya E-commerce Awards 2023, 2nd Runners Up in the Total Startupper Challenge 2019 and I have been shortlisted by Avance Media as one of the 100 most influential young Kenyans in 2018. I've also been fortunate enough to go through some of the most reputable entrepreneurship accelerator programs in Africa such as Growth Africa in 2019 and Google for Startups Accelerator Africa 2020. In 2023, I spearheaded one of my companies (Uzapoint) to be one of the 40 qualified recipients (out of 4,000 applications) of the renowned non-dilutive Black Founders Fund 2023 by Google for Startups which provides up to $150k in funding for black-led startups in Africa.
