An essential part of the Caterpillar dealer Service Technician/Engineer development program, designed to equip Technicians/Engineers with the following skills & Knowledge:- Proficiently drafting technical service reports adhering to Caterpillar standards.- Competently preparing comprehensive part lists for any given component or machine.- Employing CAT ET, SIS, TMI, Schematics and various Caterpillar special tools for conducting performance tests and adjustments on electrical, hydraulic, engine, and other systems. Utilizing outcomes to effectively verify and address identified issues on site.- Expertly disassembling, assembling, resealing and installing a diverse range of Caterpillar components, including pumps, engines, transmissions, final drives, differentials, hydraulic cylinders and axle shafts.- CAT remote services- CVA preventive maintenance performance - Electrical & Electronics Systems troubleshooting- CAN/CDL Data link troubleshooting - Diesel Engine Systems troubleshooting- Hydraulic & Powertrain Systems troubleshooting.

As a Graduate intern, I was reporting to the service Supervisor during my 2 months internship at the Cfao Service Department of the Takoradi Branch. I;-Assisted the Service Advisor in preparing service orders, picking lists and quotations.-Involved in performing routine and preventive maintenance on myriad of Mitsubishi,Suzuki, Fuso and JCB product line in accordance with the approved maintenance standards thereby increasing the productivity of the Service Technicians by 10% in the month of November. -Conformed to all workshop regulations ensuring that there was 0% injury.-Involved in pre and post maintenance quality inspection of repaired vehicles, which reduced return jobs to 0% in the month of November and December.

-Involved in arranging automotive lab activities for instructional purposes such as selecting the appropriate vehicle for demonstration as well as planning and organizing tools and materials needed.-Successfully completed lab activities assigned by instructors; logged student competency on an Excel spreadsheet and maintained copies in an organized file for student access and assisted instructors with the development of new lab activity sheets to support NABPTEX( National Board for Professional and Technical Examination) competencies.-Monitored equipment for malfunctions and performed repairs when necessary.
