Passion turned into Career: With an exhaustive professional engagement of 25 years in the field of Conservation of Heritage sites,Tourism development Projects involving their Conservation,preservation restoration & adaptive reuse for various states of India namely Punjab,Himachal Pradesh,Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan at random,I have served in individual and joint capacity for the projects of national ,state and municipal level importance also including world heritage site.My specialized engagement covers projects ranging from Heritage Conservation, Museum planning,Interior Designing,Renovation, landscaping etc. from their basic conceptualization to preparation of official drawings,DPRs,detailed drawings,estimation,tendering,supervision etc.Was expert Consultant to various infrastructure development projects as Cultural Heritage & Conservation Specialist for DSC,IDIPT Punjab(PHTPB),Cultural Heritage Management Expert for PMC,IDIPT-HP(HPTB) ,Heritage Conservation Expert & Inner City Renewal Expert for PMC to Indore,Ajmer & Udaipur Smart City Projects shouldering works from project development,detailed project reports,documentation & proposal drawings,estimation,tendering and on-field works alongwith related team of experts and support staff. Developed various Heritage walks, streetscape/facade conservation projects, rehabilitation projects, river rejuvenation projects etc. apart from listing them for various government departments.Foreign engagement: Served as Project Architect for PACI(Public Authority for Civil Information) & a massive Villa at Kuwait between 1998 to 2000.It was a multifaceted professional engagement which included coordinating with US & local Design team, preparation of detailed drawings, getting on-site development works done, site inspections with various experts from PMC & Ministry ,coordinating with 64 contracting agencies with 28 covering works relating to spatial planning,interior designing,landscaping, structural works,site execution etc.Education: Teaching Heritage Conservation, Architectural Conservation and Ecological Conservation to the students of B.Arch.& M.Arch. Also engaged as guest faculty & invigilator to Masters of Tourism Administration,Dr.BAMU,Aurangabad.Conduct educational workshops & seminars for various institutes ,Universities and organizations creating awareness of heritage conservation. Coined the popular title “City of Gates- Aurangabad” through my dissertation in the year 1995-96 & recently gave TED Talk.Published various research papers in various national & international publications & conferences.
