Reporting directly to the Owner & VP, assist with vendor selection and material cost evaluations.Process all purchase orders for Production, Maintenance and Fixed Assets.Continually research alternative sources for products in order to ensure the most competitive pricing.Coordinate material requirements with Production & Sales to support short and long term forecasting.Acquire overseas vendors for new milled & reclaimed material. RFQ companies in countries such as Pakistan, India, China, and Belgium.Coordinate domestic and international freight. RFP US carriers for port/rail pickups and liaison with exporters’ freight forwarder to ensure timely delivery.Assess invoices and work with Accounts Payable to ensure all invoices were resolved within the allotted beneficial pay term period.Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Warehouse personnel to address Vendors with problematic material and formulate plan to mitigate future quality mishaps.Liaise with Hospitals, Laundries, and Hotels to purchase & schedule pickup of washed goods for resale and ensure prompt payment.

Responsibilities include sourcing new and/or alternative suppliers and materials through various resources and negotiating improved pricing on existing staple items. Review and process major sales orders and track large scale and/or long term purchases. I ensure shortest possible turnaround of all product deliveries without compromising quality or price. Issuance of all purchase orders & maintain inventory counts of all warehouse product. Negotiate current prices, volume discounts and discounts for early invoice payments. Work with manufacturers, distributors and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of all national & international items. I am in charge of all shipping/receiving aspects and well versed in many shipping methods including UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL and Freight. I have a limited amount of Accounts Payable experience with the ability to process credit cards & invoicing.
