Feedback from attendees, sponsors, and partners made one thing clear: companies were seeking more than just one-off wellness experiences. They needed accessible, long-term support to cultivate healthy workplace cultures and invest in the well-being of their employees and managers.Seeing this potential, I took on the role of Founder and CEO, committed to building a solution that could address these needs more effectively. We embarked on a period of refinement, reassessing our approach to better serve the corporate world. We listened closely to what companies truly needed—a holistic, practical solution for ongoing workplace wellness that extends beyond traditional events. This process led us to reimagine our brand and our mission, and Heliona was born.Heliona now stands as a purpose-built company maximizing well-being, productivity, and retention for SMBs and mid-market organizations. In 2022, we started as Freedom Project Forum, a small venture with a big vision: to test the impact of wellness-focused events in the mental health space. Positioned as a B2C brand, our goal was simple yet ambitious—to bring mental health awareness to the forefront through immersive experiences. In our first year, we hosted four wellness-focused events, each one bringing together people who were eager to engage, learn, and share in a space dedicated to mental well-being.These experiences quickly taught us the power of connection and the undeniable demand for accessible mental health resources. With each event, we collected invaluable insights from attendees, sponsors, and partners, who repeatedly asked for ongoing support and deeper wellness solutions that extended beyond one-off events.The success of these initial gatherings, coupled with the feedback we received, shaped the foundation for a significant shift.

In 2017, I launched AbrahamAdvocate.com, a personal brand dedicated to raising awareness and sparking conversations around mental health. As the world's first Chief Empathy Officer, I embraced the role of storytelling as a powerful tool for advocacy, crafting narratives that connected deeply with people from all walks of life. My work centered on breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and over time, I expanded these efforts into legislative action, advocating for early mental health education in both Kansas and Missouri.However, as my mission grew, I realized the need to create an initiative beyond my personal brand. I wanted to develop a dedicated platform that would directly impact individuals on a larger scale. In 2022, I took a leap and founded Freedom Project Forum, a B2C brand focused on testing the concept of mental health and wellness experiences. The goal was to explore how we could bring mental health into people’s daily lives and workplaces through immersive experiences and resources, all with the aim of creating a lasting, positive impact.With Freedom Project Forum, I found a new way to drive awareness and action in mental wellness.
