I write copies that require little or no rework, freeing up mind and time for copy chiefs and marketing teams.How do I do this? Through a distinct, no-frills approach to copywriting.I dreamt up and built a landing page and blog to test a startup idea (a construction aggregator) after reading Steve Blanks' Startup Owners Manual despite having no experience in software or construction.And although it died at an early stage, it rewired my understanding of business, marketing, copywriting, and how they relate to each other.A good copy, if you ask me now, is the distillation of marketing strategy and branding of a company.Besides writing and research, copywriting involves talking and listening and clarifying concepts, which can become a tiring back and forth. So at the start of the project itself, I ask a lot of questions and take notes.Using tools like Trello or MS Teams, I categorize and share research data, take feedback or approval, keep up with milestones, and meet deadlines.I obsess over every word, removing a word and putting it back in, taking criticism and editing, launching and optimizing, rinsing and repeating till results are achieved.My main benefits + promises:-Meticulous research keeps the copy on target-Careful word choices keeps the copy sharp-Smooth workflow helps manage multiple projects-Focus on the business produces quantifiable results-A quick understanding of the brand's needs saves timeAfter finishing master's in communication, I started my career as a journalist, until I switched to copywriting and digital marketing to help businesses better connect with their customers.
