To Change the World “Goals provide focus. With no guiding vision or plan, people tend to drift. Goals provide a measuring stick for progress” (Marano, 2003). I have always been interested in setting goals to accomplish the things I want the most. I was born in a small family with two younger brothers, a mom, and a dad. My parents were very interested in my early education and self-growth with the right principles. One of the most important principles that they taught me was to learn how to set goals. They taught me to set real, relevant, specific, and measurable goals. I have accomplished many different goals in my life, but now that I am older it is time to set bigger goals. I have always dreamed of a better place because I was born in a country with a high demand of people willing to make a change. I have decided that helping other people must be part of my life because it is a passion of mine to create things that would help people in my country. I decided to become an engineer because that could improve the life of my future family and make big changes in Mexico.
