As a server, I made sure that our guests had a memorable dining experience, making food and drink recommendations and providing support for other servers.

As a server assistant, I provided support for the front of the house, either as a busser, food runner, or barback. I made sure our side stations were constantly stocked during service to make sure everything ran smoothly, cleaned and reset tables between parties, and made sure the guests drinks were full.

As a server, my job consisted of making sure that guests of the restaurant had a memorable experience while eating there, helping them with our extensive menu, taking orders, and catering to their requests. Apart from taking orders, I also helped with the running of food and drinks, bussing of tables, and sitting new guests. As a designated trainer, I helped train new servers and held servers accountable for side work.

I started as a busser, moved up to bartending, then became a server and assistant manager. As a busser, I cleared and cleaned tables and reset them, kept the restaurant clean and the busser stations restocked, and ran food to the tables. As a bartender, I opened and closed the bar, cleaning the station and restocking materials, polishing wine glasses, and preparing the different syrups and garnishes used for our drinks, different flavored sangrias with different types of wines. While bartending, I also helped around the restaurant, ran food, got refills, greeted customers, and whatever else was needed. After bartending, I moved up to server, but also jumped into the bar whenever needed. Then as assistant manager, I still served tables, but I was also tasked with gathering and organizing the other servers’ sales reports, counting inventory for wines and other beverages, and closing the restaurant at the end of the night.

I was a server and a cashier, greeting customers, taking their orders, and running their food and drinks. I helped open and close the restaurant, setting up the desserts and baked goods displays, refilling the drink refrigerators, and setting up/cleaning the dining room for opening and closing.

I worked as a cashier at the front counter and at both drive-thru windows, taking and handing out orders and making sure customers were satisfied. I was also responsible for organizing and cleaning the restaurant on a regular basis.

In the Finance department of the Palmetto General Hospital, I helped organize purchase orders for different offices. I was in charge of organizing sales receipts and payroll, and rearranging the storage and its contents alphabetically to make things easier to find.

My duties as a volunteer were to help organize purchase orders for the Materials Management department for the first few weeks. I was then transferred to the warehouse for the remaining time. In the warehouse I was in charge of delivering packages to different areas of the hospital and storing incoming deliveries into their corresponding locations in the warehouse.
