I stepped up to take on unassigned tasks when there was a shortage of artists available. Such tasks included Layout and Rigging, among others, which I learned on the job in order to accomplish the project's original vision so that we didn't have to make any creative compromises.ICON Creative StudioI previously worked at ICON Creative Studio on projects for Disney Jr. and Apple TV. Within my first 6 months, I was promoted from a Junior position to an Intermediate position and given both a salary raise and a position on a higher-end, feature quality streaming series show for Apple TV+. When my Canadian work permit expired, the studio made an exception to their employment practices to hire me full-time as a remote contractor so that I could continue to work for ICON from my location in the US. At the same time, they extended my previous contract.FreelancerWhile taking classes for Animation Mentor, I was offered a chance to work on a short film co-directed by Pixar's Shad Bradbury. The short is currently showing in festivals and being long-listed and short-listed for various awards. In addition, it has won several awards since its release.
