I am an African male who was born in Liberia, West Africa, and came to the United States of America in 2001. I have a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in various fields. In 2005, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Bucknell University, which provided me with a strong foundation in global affairs and intercultural communication.Recognizing my passion for helping others, I pursued a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. This program equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex social issues and provide support to individuals and communities in need. Additionally, in 2014, I completed studies for a Master's degree in Project Management from Drexel University, enhancing my ability to effectively plan, execute, and manage projects.For the past five years, I have been working as a Program Coordinator for the DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Substance Abuse unit at the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. In this role, I have been responsible for coordinating and implementing programs aimed at helping individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. This experience has allowed me to develop strong organizational and leadership skills while working in a multidisciplinary team.Prior to my current role, I spent three years as the Court Coordinator at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, where I played a pivotal role in facilitating communication and collaboration between the court system and mental health professionals. This position required exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal processes.From 2008 to 2015, I worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at Trenton Psychiatric, where I provided direct support and counseling to patients with mental health challenges.
