Used Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles, partnerships and on-the-ground strategies to develop and launch District urban shorelines, urban tree canopy and rural forest stewardship programming and an expanded District landowner cost-share program. Managed shorelines and forest habitat restoration and environmental education program groups comprised of 14 conservation / stewardship programs with a combined budget of $2.275M. Collected vegetation composition, vegetation structure, lichen community, and forest mensuration data. Collected and prepared herbarium specimens. District Botanist for the Snoqualmie National Forest, Darrington Ranger District. Developed District Botany and ET&S plant conservation program. Conducted surveys for and documented threatened, endangered, sensitive, and monitor plant species; maintained and developed District records to track and monitor local TES plant populations; developed management and mitigation plans for sensitive plant populations; documented and prepared biological evaluations; reviewed and edited Environmental Assessments; authored sensitive plant management alternatives for NEPA projects; implemented special projects / initiatives to conserve sensitive plant species. Trained and supervised employees, volunteers, contractors.

Limekiln Point State Park - Developed and implemented an expanded natural history interpretive program for Lime Kiln Point State Park, a whale watching day use park on San Juan Island. Developed and implemented an environmental education master plan for marine State Parks of the San Juan Islands. Developed and presented slide shows on PNW marine and terrestrial ecology, San Juan Islands geology. Conducted interpretive nature walks. Designed and produced the Park kiosk/bulletin board and brochure. Developed, recorded and broadcasted Park loop-tape education program. Conducted shoreline-based whale watching tours. ________Sucia Island State Park - Maintained facilities, infrastructure and equipment for 6 marine State Parks in the San Juan Islands, including camp site maintenance, mowing, and composting toilet maintenance and repair. Worked with the public, providing park use information and guidance. Managed reservations and collected camp site and mooring fees. Developed and presented environmental education programming. Used and maintained park equipment. Piloted and navigated park vessels (16' Boston Whaler, 26' Raider-class hull and 29' aluminum hull boats). ________Central Ferry State Park - Maintained park facilities, infrastructure and equipment, including camp site maintenance, mowing, and irrigation system maintenance and repair. Worked with the public, providing park use information and guidance. Managed reservations and collected RV and camp site rental fees. Used and maintained park equipment.
