In more than 40 countries around the world, over 5,600 team members work side by side with people living through poverty, disaster, violent conflict and the acute impacts of climate change. Livelihood Improvement for Women and Youth (LIWAY) project is a market system development programme implemented by a consortium of partners led by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, Mercy Corps, TechnoServe and Save the Children International. The overall objective of the programme is to contribute to sustainable poverty reduction and social stability in Addis Ababa through increased access to wage and/or self-employment opportunities.Major Responsibility: • Facilitate job creation interventions and connect women and youth to start and/or continue employment opportunities by creating linkage with employers’, and relevant private and public stakeholders• Plan and organize timely implementation of intervention concept note among public and private sector partners in close coordination with Intervention advisors and team lead. • Design, develop and facilitate digital job matching strategies, consult web based interventions and conduct digital SWAT analysis for future improvement • Support in monitoring, evaluation, and communication activities across the labor sector interventions primarily and in cross sectoral intervention activities • Work closely with consortium partner (Save The Children, SNV, and TechnoServe) team members and conduct assessment across selected sectors/market systems Show less

It was launched to facilitate market systems development to create jobs and raise incomes of Ethiopians, especially women, living in poverty. The primary focus was to stimulate agro-industrial growth and access to finance. DAI implemented this work with consortium partners First Consult (Ethiopia), Itad (United Kingdom), Enclude (Netherlands), and BCaD. Major Responsibility: • Assist with developing, integrating and implementing marketing, communication and public relations plan and measurable action that enhance the organization’s vital mission. • In collaboration with the technical director, communication team, and other technical team drafting, finalizing and ensuring the publication and dissemination of annual reports, case studies and fact sheets.• Develop contents for website and social media channels, measure and report performance of website traffic flow and social media analytic, track and measure SEO and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)• Support in designing digital business models and comprehensive digital transformation strategies for selected job creation interventions• Produce videos, motion graphics, data visualization, print media, annual reports and other visual communication materials.
