Project focuses on migrating the on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse to Cloud using Microsoft Azure technologies. It will include rewriting the whole solution using Azure technologies, migrating all the data from various disparate legacy source systems, interacting with Business getting and finalizing business requirements and finally integrating and testing the whole solution. Responsibilities: Primarily involved in Data Migration using SQL, SQL Azure, Azure Data lake, and Azure Data Factory. Responsible for extracting the data from OLTP and OLAP using Azure Data factory and Databricks to Data lake. Used Azure Databricks notebook to extract the data from Data lake and load it into Azure and On-prem SQL database. Developed pipelines that can extract data from various sources and merge into single source datasets in Data lake using Databricks. Performed encryption of sensitive data in to Data lake which are sensitive to business using cypher algorithm.

Developed and deployed Power BI dashboards to support strategic decision-making by cleaning and transforming data using Power Query, optimizing data models in Power Pivot, and analyzing sales counselors' performance across various timelines (yearly, quarterly, monthly) to track key metrics like student enrollments and sales activity; built interactive dashboards with drill-down, drill-through, slicer, and DAX queries for comprehensive data visualization; ensured secure report deployment via Power BI Service with automated refresh schedules; and provided training to end-users on best practices in Power BI, Power Pivot, and Power Query for improved data-driven insights and operational efficiency

Star Health is a centralized data warehouse across Torus Insurance, where all end users connect to the SSAS cube and generate their own reports. Star Health is very critical to Torus Insurance as it serves as the single version of truth for every line of business globally. Star Health refreshes every 15 minutes, providing nearly the latest data for end users. Responsibilities included implementing transformations in dataflow to clean data, using destinations like OLE DB, Flat file, Excel, and sources like Flat file and OLE DB. Created workflows with Data flow, Execute SQL task, Execute package tasks, and Containers. Used transformations like Derived Column, Conditional Split, Aggregate, Row Count, Lookup, Sort, and Data Conversion. Developed SSIS packages to extract and transfer data between databases with validation. Also, created tables, stored procedures, and complex queries, and designed various types of reports including Excel, Matrix, Table, Chart, Drill Down, Drill Through, Sub Reports, and Parameterized Reports. Additionally, I used Control Flow Tasks & Containers, custom logging, multiple configuration files, and techniques to populate dimensions without using the SCD wizard.
