I have been an architect for over 30 years in private practice in Belfast, Northern Ireland.I run my own private architectural practice in Holywood, County Down. Here we design a broad variety of different building types. Our recent successful projects include the recently completed £50m Stena Ferry Terminal in Lough Ryan Scotland. This new state of the art terminal will replace the Stranraer terminal. It opened in November 2011. Other major projects completed include the VT4 Stena Ferry Terminal in Belfast (£36m), Holywood Exchange Retail Park, Royal County Down, and Roe Park Golf Clubs along with various education projects at Campbell College, Belfast. In England we have carried out major Office developments, and retail Warehouse Parks, We also developed new offices within town centre conservation areas. In the process of the planning service are new apartment developments for Bangor town Centre. We are soon to be on site with the restaurants at Holywood Exchange in Belfast 2012.The current economic climate is making all our work in the Construction Sector more challenging.
