Helping students and families on a one-on-one basis identify colleges and universities that offer the best matches for the student's unique needs. Keeping the student on track through every phase of the college application process.

Provide on-going individual and group academic counseling to students.Provide family support through educational sessions.Regularly collect feedback from teachers from students and report results to the school community.Meet with teachers to investigate trends in student behavior and attitudes.Maintain a documentation system for English Language Learner students and service to student academic needs. Collaborate with secondary teachers to address trends in student achievement in credit coursesIdentify college and university summer enrichment, bridge, and remediation programs for high school students.Provide assistance with Explore/PLAN/ACT/SAT testing.Plan and lead College Field Lessons for high school studentsPlan and lead college information to 11th and 12th grade students.Develop lesson plans for “Why College?” and teach student study methods and skills that will lead to college matriculation via the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Course Elective.
