I currently work as a language teaching assistant at CEIP Federico García Lorca, assisting students aged 6 to 11 in improving their English conversation and literacy skills, along with expanding their concept of global citizenship. I help prepare lessons, teach in the classroom, give presentations on culture and grammar, and coordinate age-appropriate learning activities.

I am currently working for the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA) to host and produce the podcast series, 'The Wayfinder,' where my day-to-day tasks include scheduling and interviewing thought leaders in the field of international education, sourcing student guests, conducting background research, composing show notes, undertaking editing and post-production, and assisting with podcast promotion.

Asking more questions than it answers, Love in Public explores the geography of conversation and gives pulse to human storytelling that honors the space between us all. After founding the podcast in the fall of 2020, I continue to oversee the creation of episodes and ‘voice’ the podcast by acting as the narrator and conducting interviews with different guests. I manage a remarkable team of 6 creatives to coordinate the podcast's brand identity, marketing strategy, and production style.

I worked as a server and team member at East is East, a family-owned Indian-Afghan restaurant in Vancouver. I also trained new employees to improve their skills in customer service, communication, food handling, and the overall creation of a genuine and memorable customer experience.

I supported the Communications Director in developing an effective communications plan and content calendar for the team. I also helped implement and maintain online marketing strategies through social media channels to promote the 2021 conference.

I supported research work under Dr. Minelle Mahtani, Associate Professor at the Institute for Social Justice and Senior Advisor to the Provost on Racialized Faculty. I assisted in promoting the IGNITE Book Club, an ongoing series of engagements with racialized authors at UBC’s Vancouver campus.

I worked with UBC's Centre for Accessibility, which facilitates disability-related accommodations and programming initiatives designed to remove barriers for students with disabilities and ongoing medical conditions.
