Colleagues describe him as "During the last five+ years at DMF I had the pleasure of working alongside Adam and he is undoubtedly one of the most well rounded engineers with whom I have interacted. Adam brought a broad knowledge of design and manufacturing processes to DMF which he always applied to finding the most appropriate solutions to any problem that arose. He is the consummate team player who has excellent verbal and written communication skills. His ability to listen to and understand problems from other employee’s point of view made him valuable not only as a designer of equipment but also in helping the manufacturing process flow more quickly and efficiently. One of the more innovative ground up design projects he lead was a new heavy duty rail guide system for Gradall excavators. Working with the manufacturer, an entirely new railwheel attachment was developed to greatly enhance stability while digging from the rail. The new product has resulted in a noticeable increase in sales for both Gradall and DMF. On the manufacturing side, Adam has a strong knowledge of production processes including CNC machine and robotic programming and he is as comfortable on the production floor as he is in the office. He was the main engineering point of contact for the shop’s Okuma MB8000 horizontal mill regarding programming and troubleshooting. He also oversaw the purchase, installation, and programming of an updated Yaskawa machine tending robot and CNC machine upgrade from an older Okuma Captain LM470 turret lathe to a Multus B300 turning center. I firmly believe that Adam’s combination of technical and interpersonal skills would make him a very valuable asset to any company’s team, especially in the realm of manufacturing."
