Personally, from when I was born until now, the internet has grown, size of mobiles shrunk and features improved, and computer power has increased - all within a short period of time. But what is to come?I am looking forward to the technological future, and to see how it will help us to further society, and to break-down cultural walls. With my BSC (Hons) in Computer Science & Japanese Studies and my mind has been opened to not just how we see technology, but how it is perceived more internationally, and how it is applied differently. By using this knowledge, I hope to be able to help to break-down these cultural and lingual barriers in technology, and generally, regardless of country.

I also look introduce new technologies within the workstation fleet, utilising cloud services and automation where possible.Achievements / Other Duties:- Migrated from static local administrator account password management to Azure-backed Windows LAPS, allowing for automatic rotation both periodically and when the password is used.- Migrated an internal charity to their own separate M365 tenant as part of a corporate restructure, focusing on a cloud-native solution utilising technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Autopilot, OneDrive for Business, and Windows Hello for Business. As part of this work the tenant was configured in line with general best practices, charity requirements, and secured using Microsoft security and compliance baselines.

    For over 27 years Synectics Solutions have delivered some of the most effective and innovative fraud & financial crime prevention solutions that are used throughout the world to help clients harness the power of data to protect them and their customersAs an IT Endpoint Technician, I provided 2nd line support to internal stakeholders and act as a point of escalation and advice for the Service Desk team for workstation and mobile device management and related technologies, as well as pro-active service improvement for the company workstation suite.Achievements / Other Roles:- Worked on migrating from a legacy MDT deployment system to a new SCCM / MECM environment, as well as an accompanying software catalogue with a range of software from several vendors (including integrating the PatchMyPC solution).- Scripted many processes (PowerShell) to improve efficiency within both the team and Service Desk and sought to automate other areas such as workstation deployment and maintenance.- Participated in several projects such as implementing enhanced phased Windows Updates deployments, assessing and evaluating MDM solutions, Microsoft 365 migration, and testing possible improvements to workstation driver and software management.- Planned and implemented the process for the workstation fleet to be joined to Azure AD (hybrid), co-managed between MECM & Intune, then migrated our anti-virus solution from McAfee to Defender for Endpoint.
