About Andrew Brosnan

Empathetic, effective, and reliable, I have spent over 20 years in higher education as an instructor, trainer, and manager. Excellent at listening, synthesizing, and posing questions, I have facilitated discussions in groups as large as 100 and as small as 3, providing training, advising, coaching, and general support. As a manager, I believe you get the best out of a team by creating a safe, inclusive atmosphere where each individual feels valued and knows both the mission and contextually appropriate choices to achieve shared goals. I am privileged now to be pivoting to a second career, with hopes to return to some of my earlier interests: plants, animals, books, and supporting individuals in reading and writing. As you can see, my interests are broad--what ties them together is a strong desire to foster growth. I am a natural developer and am excited to return to direct service to be able to create the situations that allow others--be they apple trees, dogs in day care, or pre-teens working on reading and writing skills--to grow and thrive.I look forward to joining a team of individuals dedicated to serving others.
