I am an Independent Researcher at The Fulbright Program, where I conduct research on South Africa's Historically Black Universities. I have over three years of experience in higher education administration and research, with a focus on internationalization at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). I hold a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Howard University and a M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania.I am the Founder and CEO of international HBCU xchange (iHBCUx), a nonprofit organization that aims to increase HBCU student participation in government-funded international exchange programs. I manage partnerships with HBCUs, exchange alumni, and other stakeholders, and oversee the program operations, finances, and reporting. I am passionate about enhancing the global competencies and opportunities of HBCU students and faculty, and fostering cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration.
