Educ.ar is a national education portal envisioned by former Argentine President Fernando De La Rua and Argentine entepreneur Martín Varsavsky within the Argentine National Ministry of Education.Duties:Statistical data gathering for viability studies; technical requirements documentation; consultancy about technical parts of the portal for all Ministry's agents involved in the project.

The CRyTIC was in charge of the ICT aspects of all of the Ministerio de Educación, functioning as a service and consultancy provider for all areas and projects within the Ministerio.It also led the Proyecto RedEs (Red de Escuelas) which later became Educ.ar.I was in charge of coordinating the technical ICT aspects of the internal information services and of helping project managers and authorities within the Ministerio to apply ICT in their projects.

I was a consultant and a programmer for the Centro de Comunicación Científica (CCC) of the Universidad de Buenos Aires.The CCC was responsible for the design, development and operation of the Universidad de Buenos Aires' Network (a very large Metropolitan Area Network), and for the design of the internal networks of most of the University's academic units.In 1994, it became the first University in Argentina directly connected to Internet.

The Programa SIU is a Program of the Ministerio de Educación devised to help National Universities in Argentina to develop an Information System to cover all aspects of Higher Education Management, partly financed with funds from the World Bank.I coordinated the development team and helped design the architecture of the system, from its first steps.

I programmed the last stages of the first computer calculated Consummer Price Index (Índice de Precios al Consumidor) in Argentina (base year=1988).Later, I became an ICT consultant for all of the Dirección Nacional de Estadísticas Sociodemográficas that was in charge of the population census, the Consummer Price Index and all population and income related surveys.Finally, I coordinated the first stages of the development of the first Nation-wide Home Income and Spending Survey (Encuesta Nacional de Ingresos y Gastos de los Hogares)

I colaborated in the startup of the RAN (Red Académica Nacional = National Academic Network).The RAN started a mail service connected with the world-wide UUCP network for Universities' and research teams' teachers and reaserchers.The RAN later developed into the CCC (Centro de Comunicación Científica) and the RECyT (Red de Ciencia y Técnica), both of which became the first internet academic nodes (in 1994) in Argentina.
