I have experience working with children and adolescents in various settings. I have completed numerous psychoeducational evaluations for students ages two to nineteen. I have also conducted counseling sessions utilizing a variety of techniques for adolescents with varying social, emotional, and/or behavioral issues. Furthermore, I facilitated counseling groups in which I used evidence-based strategies as well as creative activities in order to help students cope with stress. In addition, I conducted functional behavior assessments for children identified with various social and emotional issues. I am also prepared to handle crises as I have experience with students with suicidal ideation and I am PREPaRE certified in the National Association of School Psychologist's (NASP's) crisis prevention and intervention model. I have also worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist providing services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Apraxia.
