Business Development Manager
Current• Identify and target new business opportunities through a strategic relationship with decision makers in different market segments. • Winning new business through cold calling, building prospective list, marketing and network referral approaches across the full range of waste management service to ensure both sales volumes, customer numbers and gross margin target are achieved within a new business category to maximize contributions towards national sales budget.• Manage and develop existing portfolio of client accounts within assigned territory to ensure a long-term growth and profitability are maintained, escalating and resolving any issues in services. • Acquire in depth industry knowledge and working with different internal division to a prepare complex tender and proposal, negotiate contract, making recommendations and closing deal to secure new business partnership.• Gathering knowledge on market intelligence and competitors’ activities, industry developments, regulations to set up new sales strategy to combat with emerging business environment. • Set up strategic sales campaign by analyzing cost Vs revenue, sales matrix, stop cost and truck run optimization. • Effectively using Salesforce and other CRM tools to maintain strong sales pipeline through a strong sales funnel and maintain a strong footprint of activity.
