Abu Sayeed started his career as a filmmaker through direction of short fiction ‘Abortan’ in 1987. By this time he made 2 short films, 6 full-length movies, and apart from this he also made a large number of fictional TV production. Abu Sayeed is one of the parts of the trend of independent film in Bangladesh. All the films made by Abu Sayeed’s are exhibited in the different international film festival.
