• Demonstrate understanding of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada requirements for study and work permits;• Interpret and comply with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations (IRPA/R); Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Operational Manuals and Operational Bulletins; the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) policies and Codes of Ethics; privacy legislation; etc.• Conduct workshops and assist the students in applying for study permits, PGWP, TRV, etc;• Provide relevant and up-to-date immigration information as it relates to students' academic studies at the university;• Act as a resource for other departments about international student immigration-related issues as relevant;• Develops and provides presentations to inform and support students about IRCC permit application requirements and processes including visa regulations and student immigration regulations.

• Act as a primary contact person for applicants and support them through the admissions process via phone and email.• Answer questions about the University’s programs, admissions requirements, policies and procedures, tuition and finances, housing and relocation information.• Advise students regarding vocational matters and potential careers after graduation.• Review all application materials, compute grade point averages, and prepare complete applications for Admissions Committee review.• Conduct course registration advising for newly admitted students such as course and program selection, timetables, and scheduling.• Process incoming student applications, acceptance paperwork, and tuition deposits.• Coordinate and conduct on-campus, off-campus, and online admissions events, give presentations and Campus tours.• Coordinate counselling skills workshops and participates in student orientation.• Consult with faculty and other departments on various issues/concerns regarding programs, student experiences, and admissions.• Execute written and verbal correspondence to applicants and admissions inquiries.• Use Salesforce and other tools to process student applications.

• Research, develop, implement, and evaluate TRU World marketing strategies in the Region.• Promote and market TRU in the Region, which includes participating in education fairs.• Support Transnational Education with the development of articulation agreements.• Recruit new agents and strengthen relationships with existing syndicated agents and associate network• Receive feedback from agents, schools, and individuals and compile information and coordinate feedback with appropriate staff.• Utilize email marketing tools and social media channels to maximize TRU branding in the Region• Support visiting TRU staff in Vietnam.• Participate in the development of new TRU promotional material.• Develop marketing projections and cost analysis.• Make recommendations for new programs and courses in response to market needs.• Evaluate, attend, and report on appropriate education fairs and produce quarterly and annual market performance reports.• Provide support to any subsidiary MSR in the Region.

• Provide the first point of contact for information for international students from Vietnam and other countries.• Correspond with students and overseas agents prior to departure; meet incoming students.• Create, assemble and provide information packages to students, organize and present orientation sessions, workshops and informational sessions.• Utilize webinar software platforms (Zoom, Bluejeans, BigMarker, MS Team) and other technology tools (Moodle, Blackboard, Survey Monkey, etc.) • Arrange special events and volunteer programs.• Assist with other TRUWorld departments activities such as recruitments, transnational, study abroad activities.• Provide liaison, support, advice and information between international students and their families, international, government and community agencies, homestay families, and University departments. • Monitor students’ progress and address any student concerns as they arise. • Set up and maintain databases such as student information; maintain student records; compile statistical reports.• Provide assistance for housing and accommodation needs.
