A digital strategist and media advisor, Ruba Abu Judeh is ranked 3rd on the list of must-follow Arab women on Twitter in the Media, Marketing and PR industry and 12th on all other industry categories. With 20 years’ experience across EMEA and the United States, she has been creating digital opportunities, driving sustainable development goals and revenue growth for governments, NGO’s, multinationals and business startups. Her experience includes digital diplomacy, online presence and reputation management, global branding, international media and communications, PR, digital marketing and business development.Currently Ruba is serving at the Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah as the Digital and Social Media SeniorManager overlooking the digital and social media communications department.Prior to joining the Royal Hashemite Court, she has consulted for Facebook, John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Tweepi, and was a committee member of the US State Department’s Social Media Social Action program for the MENA region. She also consulted for regional brands and programs including: the Information Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) and the MENA ICT Forum; the Energy, Water and Environment Productivity Association (EDAMA) developing sustainability policies and initiatives; and d1g.com, the largest Arab youth social network in the region. A graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Advanced Media Management and Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University, Ruba has attended numerous training and leadership programs at Facebook, Google, YouTube, Huawei, and Lawrence National Labs in Berkeley, CA. She was a member of Women in Technology 2011 (San Francisco), Women’s Leadership & Technology 2010 (UAE), King Abdullah II Award for Youth Innovation and Achievement, and the Business and Professional Women's Association Committee.
