Worked as a site based full time contractor - as electrical engineer - with the projects group at Cadia Valley Operations (CVO): I have worked on several key pieces of plant equipment such as ball mills, pumps, conveyors, HV and LV switchgear, protection relays, VVVF drives, motors, instrumentation and fire systems both on surface and underground at CVO.Some of the CVO projects I have had high level of involvement in engineering, design, procurement, construction, site installation, commissioning and close out are as follows:- Con 1 secondary crusher dust collector- Motor condition monitoring for 11kV equipment such as ML002, ML003, ML2004, ML601, Ml602, ML605, ML606, ML607, ML2006, PU011, PU012- Cadia East underground 33kV Ring Main Units (RMU) upgrades for CV3033, CV3034, CV3035, CV3036 and CV3037- Reagents systems upgrade which included design, installation and commissioning of 31 x new dosing pumps, VVVF drives, flowmeters and associated electrical and control systems infrastructure for Con 1 T1 & T2 and Con 2- Lump feed conveyor , CV2023

i. Engineering activities including design of schematics, termination diagrams, inspection & test plan (ITP), risk assessments, taking part in FMECA and SIL assessments, cable selection and calculations, design reviews, fault analysis, arc flash calculations, preparing bill of materials, development of technical specifications for procurement of major items, etc. and testing/pre-commissioning of mining switchgear and substations built for open cut and underground mines in line with Australian Standards and statutory requirements.ii. Detail design, pre-commissioning and development of maintenance procedures in line with condition monitoring requirements for electrics including substations and MCCs supplying power to Underground mining and Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) equipment such as continuous miners, shuttle cars, feeder breakers, ventilation fans, dewatering pumps, valves, conveyors and bulk material handling, reclaim tunnel gas monitoring system etc. as per plant operational requirements and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).iii. Programming and testing of protection relays such as MiCom P12x series, SEPAM S40, Multilin T60, 750, 469, 369, TeSys motor management system, Ampcontrol IPD & MPA, Startco Neutral Link Monitors, etc. in line with protection co-ordination, earthing and system studies.iv. Familiar with design and commissioning of control systems involving Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC/HMI and associated communication through Modbus/Ethernet over copper/fibre networks and Citect SCADA.v. Project execution, control and management including correspondence with major stakeholders such as clients, suppliers/sub-contractors and project team, contract management and negotiations, keeping track of project scope, schedule & cost, monthly project reporting and forecasting, invoicing, variation management, etc. with strong customer focus and communication skills.

Design & engineering of Low Voltage (upto 1kV) Switchboards/ Motor Control Centers as per relevant standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS 3439.1 and IEC 60497 to meet client requirements in mining & minerals and oil & gas industries and project management activities to keep track of project scope, schedule & cost.Projects worked on:i.
