Oversee all aspects relating to labour relations at Windsor Regional Hospital with a view to building, maintaining, and fostering a positive labour relations environment with over four thousand (4000) employees across eight (8) bargaining units. Among other things, my core responsibilities include:- Serving as the chief negotiator on behalf of the Hospital during Collective Bargaining;-Managing the implementation of newly negotiated contracts;- Chairing all Hospital Labour/Management Committee Meetings; - Overseeing the Hospital's management of all active grievance files; - Providing practical, strategic, and legal advice to Hospital officials as it relates to the interpretation and application of collective agreements and related legislation; - Mentoring and coaching LR/HR staff; - Providing practical, strategic, and legal advice with respect to other LR/HR matters; - Overseeing the management of all workplace investigations and related follow-up; - Leading the development and review of all LR/HR polices and procedures, and advising with respect to HR/LR matters across all general policies; - Developing detailed risk analysis and related mitigation strategies; - Developing and leading educational materials and seminars to help support front-line managerial staff; - Representing the Hospital's LR/HR Department, and where required, assisting with leading various working groups including, but not limited to, Joint Health and Safety Huddles, COVID Response Working Groups; the Hospital's Incident Management Team, and the regional HR Working Group; - Analyzing LR/HR trends and developing comprehensive strategies and plans to respond to the Hospital's LR/HR needs; - Overseeing the Hospital's pay equity initiatives; and- Overseeing the management of all WSIB/LTD claims.

As an instructor of the Faculty of Law's "Privacy Law in Canada Course" I am responsible for developing and refining course material, in addition to preparing and delivering lectures to upper-year law students enrolled in the course.

Overseeing a team of highly skilled paramedics, nurses, and first responders with a view to providing high-quality patient care across South Western Ontario. Utilizing thirteen (13) years of pre-hospital emergency care experience to render effective patient care in a manner consistent with local medical directives, in addition to the Ontario Basic Life Support Patient Care Standards and Ontario Advanced Life Support Patient Care Standards.

With over twelve (12) years of experience instructing various pre-hospital emergency care programs, I provide high quality, realistic training utilizing the PerriMed Program for First Aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen Administration, and Emergency First Responder/Emergency Medical Responder, in addition to facilitating Perri-Med's Instructor Development Program. In addition, I regularly author and revise PerriMed course materials and textbooks to reflect best practices and guideline updates.

My practice primarily focused on labour/employment, privacy, and governance. I regularly provided advice to employers regarding a wide range of labour and employment issues, including employment standards compliance, human rights obligations, wrongful dismissal matters, grievance resolution, and human resource policy development. Further, I zealously represented and advocated for clients in proceedings before the courts and/or administrative tribunals relating to labour and employment law. I routinely assisted both public and private sector clients with managing privacy risks, developing comprehensive privacy frameworks, maintaining regulatory compliance, incident response planning, and managing access requests. In addition I co-authored the firm’s monthly Governance Matters Bulletin and regularly planned, prepared, and delivered various training/educational seminars to both clients and various community groups.
