My career spans over 30 years in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, and includes many public relations and communications disciplines such as media relations, website/content management, social media, crisis communications, events management, writer/editor/blogger, trade show management, and broadcast journalism. As of the fall of 2022, I accepted a full-time faculty position teaching journalism, communications and public relations courses at Riverside City College, where I also advise Viewpoints, the 100-plus-year-old student-run publication. For instance, I earned my national accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2010. After serving as a leader in the Public Relations Society of America at Howard University, I had the privilege of serving as OCPRSA's professional liaison for Biola University for 10 years.
