These skills transfer into my considerable cycling experience whether as a rider, coach, organiser, member of national committees and working within cycling teams in the UK and France as a Director Sportif for a (UCI) Union Cycliste International Continental Cycling Team leading them in such races as the Tour of Japan (stage win) Sibiu Tour and other races throughout Europe. I am leveraging strong interpersonal communication skills to develop and manage professional relationships at all levels and from all walks of life.I possess strong background in process improvement and partnering with operational leaders as well as teams for driving change to enhance victims and client satisfaction, safeguarding, and efficiency in both the safeguarding and cycling arena. In addition, I inspect areas of domestic abuse, stalking, honour-based abuse, female genital mutilation, as well as adult and child abuse. I am an independent Chair of Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHR) and Child Learning Reviews; The Independent Chair of Brighton and Hove weekly MARAC as have served as the CEO of national stalking advocacy service.The values I have driven are: Performed as a Consultant and I am an identified key-note speaker and trainer for development and delivery of both local and national training packages in areas of domestic abuse, coercion and control, stalking, housing, risk, MARAC, as well as adult and child abuse to Police, children's services, IDVA's, national probation service and other multi-agencies and voluntary agencies throughout the UK. Led multi-agency review meetings with strategic heads of service for statutory and voluntary services as well as arranged meetings with family/friends of victims murdered by abusers as part of DHR's; analysed all of information gleaned and offered suggestions in form of report and executive summaries to the Home Office to prevent homicides. Directed weekly multi agency risk assessment meeting of statutory and voluntary agencies to uncover and mitigate risk for victims of abuse at high risk of serious injury/homicide; ~16 cases per week. Developed and provided bespoke as well as quality training packages throughout the UK in various areas of safeguarding; 2K+ professionals trained from different services. Provided services as a Key Note Speaker at a number of national events, such as London Safeguarding Adults Board, national Caldicott Guardians conference, and National domestic abuse and stalking conferences. -
