Kurth Lampe Worldwide is a public relations and strategic communications firm that provides services to corporations on the national and international level, campaign and media relations to local, state, and federal campaigns, and grassroots organizing services for NGOs. I coordinate a formal internship program, manage social media for Kurth Lampe and client work, assist with organizing client events, and support Kurth Lampe’s public diplomacy activities in Chicago.

Launched an international movement to advocate for the release of photojournalist Shawkan from unlawful detention in Egyptian prison. Responsibilities include creating and executing a social media campaign, building an international network for advocacy, communicating with media outlets, elected officials, international human rights NGOs, arranging for photo exhibits to showcase Shawkan’s work and for Shawkan to receive international journalism prizes.
