📌 Determine the right venipuncture method based on patient age, health etc.📌 Find veins that are suitable for puncture.📌 Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials and other equipment.📌 Obtains blood specimens by performing vein punctures and finger stick.📌 Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique.📌 Distribution of specimen as per the test requested.📌 Preparation of reagents, solutions, slides for microscopic analysis as and when required.📌 Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection.📌 To maintain daily entry of the specimens, their results and daily statistics in computer or register.📌 To recognize abnormal or unusual test results and follow instruction procedures for reporting critical values (Call Back).📌 To perform afternoon and night shift duties as per the duty rota and the need of the laboratory.📌 Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures📌 Performs bleeding-times tests by entering results to the computer📌 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
